It depends on how much you pay for your land. Typically land is about 10%-15% of what your overall cost will end up being.

Absolutely, this course is jam packed with valuable development knowledge to help you get a project ready for construction in pretty much any location in the United States. Each local municipality will have specific rules for submission of permits and local codes that are different but the information still applies.

It all depends on the location and municipality that you decide to build in and what all you need to do before construction. If you want to split the lot it could take several months. If you are in the city of Houston it could take 3-5 months to get permits. So we typically estimate about 6 months pre-construction.
